Every once in a while a piece will be damaged in shipment or handling. Sometimes one may decide to crack during the drying process. In any event, we have some that have been filled, fixed, re-finished, and make them available here at a reduced price. Each photo series represents a specific piece and we have tried to show the repaired area in the photo.

This basket has had the handle repaired. There were several breaks that have been reglued. It has an interesting shape and good color. Size: 11" x 8" x 10" tall. more
Not much wrong with this basket. An excellent example with lots of detail and things going on. Just a very small side crack, and a repaired handle on this one. Size is: 11" x 10" x 9" tall. more
This large vase did a swan dive off the finishing bench into an empty pool. Some creative repair to the very top was required, which makes it a little out of round there, but the vase in an excellent piece other than that repair. A great chance to save some $$. Size is 13" tall x 12" wide. more
This is a nice large basket with great color and detail. There was a side-bottom crack which has been repaired, and has a small hole in one side where the wood was carved a little too thin. Hard to find a basket with more detail than this one. Approx size: 12" x 12" x 10" tall. more

Every once in a while a piece will develop some type of crack. Many of these pieces are very nice except that they need a little repair. Over the years we have become pretty good at making good structural repairs that usually look pretty good when done.
While we can't make the repaired area or crack disappear, we can usually blend it in with the surrounding colors. Many people will be using the root bowls and baskets to hold bread or fruit so many times the small repair ends up being insignificant.
We discount the pieces so that people have an opportunity to get a piece at a reduced cost, and so that we don't end up with a bunch of repaired pieces that can't be sold as new. This works for everyone. These repaired pieces are sold as is with no guarantee, and are not returnable.
