Ted, The baskets arrived today and my wife is well pleased. Last month, we purchased four similar baskets in Arizona while on vacation. We decided that these baskets would make excellent Christmas gifts, decided that we needed more than those that we purchased in Arizona, and I located your business through an on-line search. We definitely like your baskets more than those we purchased in Arizona. The appearance of the baskets is very similar, but you do leave thicker walls than does the other artisan. We prefer your finish (oil rubbed?). The other artisan uses what appears to be a polyurethane finish that is much shinier than the finish on your baskets. We will examine our Christmas gift list in coming weeks and will probably place another order later this summer. Thanks for producing such an attractive product. Neal from Georgia

Ted, The baskets, bowls, and plates arrived in good order. With a shipment of this many handmade items, I would have expected at least one to be flawed or unattractive. My wife, Claudel, was ready to leave on an out-of-town trip when the shipment arrived, but she delayed her departure so that we could go through the shipment. The lack of any items that we would even consider rejecting has created a serious problem for me. Claudel was so enamored of each piece that she says that she wants to keep them all for herself and that I will have to order more to use for gifts! Of course, this means that I will have to build her some sort of case or shelf unit in which to display them, but such is the life of a retired teacher who piddles in woodworking.
